An elderly American woman, upon learning that we were the only sock factory on the West Coast, drove two hours to visit our factory outlet. She hoped that we could make her a pair of protective socks suitable for people with diabetes. She requested extra-loose, stretchy cuffs that would not constrict her feet, a smooth, non-abrasive interior, as well as warmth, breathability, and antibacterial properties.

Although the cost of developing these socks was high, we embraced the challenge as our mission and crafted them with the utmost care. Three months later, we delivered the finished pair to her. She simply thanked us and paid us five dollars.

What happened next was beyond our expectations. Since their creation, these socks have remained a global bestseller for over 18 years, helping countless people living with diabetes.
